Reclaiming Nourishment

What is Reclaiming Nourishment?
If you are looking to do a deep dive on the relationship between your well-being and food, this might be the place for you.
Here’s the thing- the way our society is built today, it’s almost impossible to be connected to our bodies and the care they actually need. At the baseline, we are all incredibly busy trying to meet the demands to survive in capitalism. What’s even more challenging is when that connection to nourishing ourselves is furthered severed by either trauma, society, or health challenges.
For my practice, the pathway that I focus on is our relationship with food because I believe our relationship with food is a reflection of our connection with our bodies, families, culture, history, joy, and trauma. I draw from yogic philosophy, mindfulness, story telling, memory work, somatic practices, psychobiology, and nutrition science to guide our reclamation and rebuilding of our relationships with nourishment through food.
This service is for adults who have a desire to deepen their connection with their relationship with food! Yes, this does include folks who experience eating disorders and folks with chronic pain/chronic health conditions. While I cannot treat any medical conditions, we can explore the dynamic connection between nourishment and well-being.
